What ages is the Play Lab for? +
The Play Lab is designed for children aged 7–12. Each monthly box comes with clear age guidance and our instructors differentiate activities during the live session so every child stays fully engaged — from the youngest to the oldest.
What is the difference between subscribing and buying one-off? +
A one-off box costs £30 and gives you everything for that month — the craft kit and live session access. A monthly subscription costs £27/month (10% off) and includes all the subscription benefits: points and rewards, skills passport, monthly lookbook, members WhatsApp community and birthday recognition. From month 7 your discount grows to 15% — automatically.
When will our first box arrive? +
Subscribe or order before the 25th of the month and your first box dispatches on the 1st of the following month. Order after the 25th and your box dispatches the month after that. Either way you'll receive everything you need before the Saturday session.
Do we have to attend the live session? +
Not at all — the live Saturday session is a wonderful bonus but completely optional. Every box can be enjoyed independently using the included instructions. Many families do both and love it either way.
Can we cancel at any time? +
Yes — absolutely. No contracts, no minimum terms, no fees. Cancel, pause or skip a month directly from your account with one click at any time. We want you to stay because your child loves it — not because you're locked in.
Are the materials safe for young children? +
Every material is age-appropriate and safety tested following strict UK toy safety standards. Boxes designed for younger children contain no small parts that could be a choking hazard.
