I almost told her the answer…

I was about to step in and help… but something made me pause. That moment changed everything.

I almost told her the answer…

She was stuck.

I could see it.

She kept trying the same piece over and over again.

I opened my mouth to help…

Then I paused.

And I said nothing.

It felt uncomfortable.

Honestly?
I felt like I was failing her.

Then suddenly…

She turned the piece.
Tried something different.
And it worked.

Her face lit up.

“Look! I did it!”

That moment hit me.

If I had stepped in…

She would have finished the puzzle.

But she wouldn’t have felt that.

Now I ask myself more often:

Am I helping…
or am I taking the moment away?
