You’re using puzzles wrong (and it’s not your fault)

You’re giving your child puzzles… but you might be missing the real purpose.

You’re using puzzles wrong (and it’s not your fault)

Most of us give a child a puzzle like this:

“Here you go, finish it.”

Then we:

✔ correct them
✔ rush them
✔ show them where pieces go

And unknowingly…

we turn a thinking tool into just another task.

Try this instead 👇

Next time:

  1. Let them explore first
  2. Don’t correct immediately
  3. Ask questions instead of giving answers
  4. Celebrate effort, not speed

Suddenly, the puzzle becomes:

🧠 a thinking exercise
💛 a confidence builder
🎯 a life skill moment

Same puzzle.

Completely different impact.
